I have two labradoodles with thick coats this product does not work on them and will not order again

Unfortunately my experience with TruBlue Easy Comb has not been as positive as the other reviewers.
My wife and I share our home with three terriers. I have been slowly working my way through various detangling products, thanks to our Cesky. Unlike most terriers, Ceskies have very soft, silky - almost cottony - coats. Brush them out today - tomorrow they are matted and tangled, (the knots look like they were tied by an Eagle Scout - and if you walk them through a summer field it takes three days to get the burrs and brambles out). And nothing that I've tried so far, including TruBlue, seems to make untagling the mess much easier.
TruBlue does make a difference with our "harder" coated Westie and Scotty - but they don't tend to tangle and mat like the Cesky, (although the Westie makes such a scene when he's brushed out, that any product that makes that task easier is a welcome addition to his grooming kit).
I'm also not a fan of the "lavender scent." I'd just as soon that my dogs didn't smell like my grandmother, (I doubt that many of today's grandmothers smell of lavender - but if you're on the north side of 60 as I am, you know what I'm talkin' about).
Bottom Line: In my experience, TruBlue facilitates combing out hard or wire coated dogs - but if you've got a long haired, soft coated dog, it may not make much difference.

I've had a few different detanglers for our pooch, and so far this is the best. Does what it says, and smells nice too. I love that it's natural. My only complaint is that the bottle it's in isn't too easy to spray. A minor nit, we just transfer it to another bottle.

I have tried several detangling products to use on my long, semi-curly- haired Maltipoo dog, and this product is the ONLY one that actually works like magic! This product is a lifesaver! Was beginning to wonder if I should just shave her hair -- but, now I am totally comfortable keeping her hair long. It is the only product of its kind that I have come across that contains only natural ingredients. I wish it did not have any fragrance, but it is so much more bearable than all the others I tried. So far, I have used it on her dry hair as part of my daily brushing/combing routine. I spray it on areas where there are matts and I then can easily brush it (using a natural bristle brush) through with NO problem at all. I then comb it just to be sure. Before this product, it took me over an hour, using those other useless products, to groom my dog on a daily basis and was miserable for both of us. Now, it only takes a few minutes and she's not in any pain!! This is truly an amazing find for dog owners who want to maintain their dog's longer hair without turning it into a huge ordeal for both dog and owner!!!
