Our 3 year old, seventy pound pitbull is very particular about his beds. Some he likes to destroy right away while others he cultivates a relationship with over time. This bed became his best friend right away. He has many options for where he can sleep during the day, but he chooses the bagel/donut bed most, if not all of the time. Its raised sides give him a sense of security, while the smooth middle lulls him to sleep.
I was worried that it wouldn't be big enough for him, but it is the PERFECT size. I could even curl up in it! Enjoy!

Just got this bed today for my pooch. She seems to like it so far but really I wanted to comment on the quality of this bed more than anything. This bed is much better constructed than I had anticipated! I expected it to be good just based on all the reviews, but in person it's so much nicer! The bottom is a nice heavy canvas style fabric that will def stand up to my dog's need to scratch and paw at her bed before she lays down in it. The bolster around the edge is a bit firmer than the actual bed portion so I don't believe it's going to end up flattened down. It's still super soft, it's just got a bit more stuffing than the inside. The only downside I can see so far is what others have mentioned in that it doesn't have a removeable cover for washing. But I think I can spray it with some fabric refresher every once in a while and toss it in the dryer. Will certainly be purchasing this same bed again when my 2nd pup moves in later this year!

I ordered this for my pit bull terrier pup now that she's getting too big to sleep with mommy and daddy in our bed. I recieved it a few days ago and used it for the first time last night. She immediately went into it rolled onto her back and drifted off to sleep without a fuss. No whining to hop in our bed at all!! it's very fluffy and comfy. I climbed into it myself to test it out!! I ordered the large even though she is only about 5 months old so she can grow into it but she still absolutley luvs it. Its big enough for her to stretch out but because of the bolsters she feels secure. She didnt even want to get out of it this morning to go eat her breakfast..lol. I will be buying another one if or when this one gets run down. A great dog bed. A steam cleaning from my carpet steam cleaner with the attatchment every few weeks will be perfect for cleaning it since im sure it's a little too large for my washing machine. just wish they had more colors and design choices....

My 17 year-old Cockapoo finds the bed most comfortable. It's large enough for her to turn around in it the mandatory 3-6 times before settling in with her head slung over the side. The bed is not easy to wash. It is too large and bulky to fit into my large capacity washer and my extra large dryer. It is necessary to haul the bed off to the local laundramat and use the commercial machines with the highest capacity. Not fun. Not convenient. Worth it only because I love my dog but I've told her it's getting old. Do not buy the large Bagel Donut Dog Bed unless you live right next door to the laundramat and have an endless supply of quarters.
